The Art of Olive Wood
Born from a passion and a craft passed down with love, L’Or Vert traces its roots back to 2009, when Achraf Aloulou began his artisanal journey working with olive wood.
Over the years, his talent and commitment to quality allowed the project to grow. In 2014, he officially founded the company L’Or Vert, based in Sfax, the Tunisian capital of olive trees.
Every creation tells a story.
We use exclusively olive wood from Sfax, renowned for its exceptional hardness, natural durability, and the unique beauty of its grain.
From this noble wood emerge authentic pieces, carefully crafted, combining tradition, design, and respect for nature.
L’Or Vert represents a passion for wood, the value of craftsmanship, and pride in Tunisian know-how.
Achraf Aloulou
Despite only being in his thirties, Achraf has an impressive career in olive wood craft. He is a selfmade artisan and businessman, who started his professional career at 17 years old.
Currently he heads a team of 30 artisans who have the skills to transform single pieces of wood into kitchen utensils, tableware, and resistant and eco friendly everyday objects that the company exports to various foreign markets in Europe and the rest of the world.
